District Elder Harold McDonald is the Pastor of “The Church of The Lord Jesus” in Blytheville AR, where he
has been a faithful shepherd for more than 18yrs. He is committed and loyal to proclaim the truth of the
Gospel, winning souls for Christ and service for his congregation.
Pastor McDonald is committed to moving forward in the faith and continuing the mission of serving all of
God children.
Pastor McDonald grew up in Marion Arkansas where he graduated from J. S. Phelix High School. He attended
college at Arkansas State University for one year after which he entered building trades as a plumber. In
1973 he married Sister Vera Payne McDonald. They are the proud parents of four children and six grandchildren.
He began his journey with the Lord in April of 1973 he and his wife were baptized in the name of Our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ by his late Pastor Elder Dave Favors in Forrest City Arkansas at Christ Temple church.
In 1982 he accepted the call to the ministry and worked with Pastor Favors until his death.
Pastor McDonald is a visionary and the founder of McDonald Plumbing which was founded in 1990 which
grew to be one of largest minority owned plumbing companies in Memphis, TN area.
Currently Pastor Harold
McDonald serves as the chairman of The Memphis/Shelby County Plumbing Board. He is also the President
of “The Memphis Area Minority Contractors Association” and gives serves on several other boards and
associations within the Memphis TN area.
In 1997 he accepted the call to pastor “The Church of The Lord Jesus” in Blytheville, Arkansas where he is currently the shepherd over that
congregation.
In 2010 – 2014 Pastor McDonald begin laboring for the Arkansas District Council as the Fellowship Chairman as well as a number of other
committees within the Arkansas District Council.
God was not done with him yet. In 2012 Pastor McDonald was elevated to District Elder, were he will be a helper to other churches as they
continue to be steadfast on their missions. His assignment is clear as District Elder Harold McDonald continue on his journey as the Assistant
Chairman of the Arkansas District Council.
